The Company:
Exygy is a web development shop that loves working with startups, nonprofits and socially conscious for-profits. We’ve been working hard to find ways to make maximum social impact with apps we design + build. While we spend 90% of our time as a consulting company, we’re quickly growing and beginning to work on our own internal products as well.

The Role:
The role is a cool one: a heavy dose of web design, a bit of mobile UI design, part user experience design, etc — taking folks from ideation to final comp. You need to understand technology pretty deeply because the Exygy engineer sitting next to you is going to have to build in a few weeks what you’re designing today. You’ll get to work directly with our engineering team and directly with our clients. It’s pretty cool and it’s kinda a “junior creative director” position, without all the agency crap that goes along with that. We’re small, we’re fun, we’re sexy.

The Right Person:
* Deep passion for making technology beautiful is an absolute must for this role.
* You of course know Photoshop and Illustrator inside and out, and ideally you have a wireframing tool you really like (eg, OmniGraffle)
* You don’t mind sketching some ideas out by hand either.
* Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS/JQuery is definitely helpful but not 100% necessary.
