The Company:
Exygy is a web development shop that loves working with startups, nonprofits and socially conscious for-profits. We’ve been working hard to find ways to make maximum social impact with the code we write. While we spend 90% of our time as a consulting company, we’re quickly growing and beginning to work on our own internal products as well.

The Role:
This is a great role for someone who loves the LAMP stack generally. Bonus points awarded for:

(a) experience with WordPress or
(b) experience with any PHP based MVC framework, such as CakePHP or CodeIgniter
(c) experience with Ruby on Rails

Project variety is built into this position; you’ll get a chance to work with large number of projects for both big-name companies and smaller, fast-growing clients. On the coding side, you’ll do some back-end work with WordPress (installs, themes, plugins, customizations, support, etc.), LAMP frameworks like CakePHP, and work with front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery). On the design side, you should be proficient in Photoshop and you get bonus points for some graphics art mojo (a great eye for visual design would be awesome).

Consider applying if you’d enjoy delivering well-polished relatively simple projects that take between 2 weeks and 4 months to complete.

The Right Person:
* Code Hacker, extraordinaire
* Experience with WordPress and/or Drupal
* Knowledge of Photoshop w/ eye for design.
* Solid PHP and MySQL
* Solid HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
* Bonus points for MVC experience in any language (eg, CakePHP, Ruby on Rails)
* Bonus points for prior experience developing for third-party APIs.
* Bonus points for prior consulting experience.
