Project Description
Not For Sale creates tools that engage business, government, and grassroots in order to incubate and grow social enterprises to benefit enslaved and vulnerable communities.
Exygy worked with Not For Sale to redesign, rebuild, and relaunch the Free2Work suite of tools. Free2Work aims to tell the “story behind the barcode”, providing consumers with information on how products on the shelf relate to modern-day slavery. Through the site and the mobile applicationsĀ consumers can learn how their favorite brands are working (or not) to address forced and child labor. Consumers can also access in-depth information about industry issues through Industry and news feeds, and learn more about trafficking and supply chains. Free2Work is additionally working to provide Industry Best Practice Reports for brands seeking management resources.
Exygy Designed and built with Free2Work an iPhone app, Android App and a web services API that powers the mobile apps and Free2Work website. Exygy also assisted in the design and implementation of the scoring algorithm that rates brands and products and in the design and build of a Free2Work microsite and embedable web widgets.
