Project Description
TellEmotion provides real-time feedback on energy consumption in an engaging manner designed to compel voluntary energy conservation behavior.
Exygy built for TellEmotion a system that integrates with electricity, heat, water, and other resource monitors and asks them a simple question, every few seconds (“how much are you using?”) and store that resource usage information in a MySQL database.
TellEmotion’s custom touch screen portal, designed + built with Exygy, serves as a window into a building’s resource usage. Using TellEmotion throughout campuses, universities and large businesses can provide their employees and students with a better understanding of the resource utilization. Competitions can be run through the platform to encourage usage reduction. Usage can be visualized through engaging animations as well as through interactive charts and graphs.
