Function: Product Management

Level: P2

Dates: May 18 - November 21

Remote, US | Product | Temporary FTE

Job Overview

Product Managers at Exygy are focused on planning and executing successful product strategies, conducting discovery, prototyping, validation, and building work for projects with different clients. In this role, you will focus on delivering and growing Bloom, a one-stop-shop platform for all affordable housing-related needs, an in-house product we implement in partnership with different jurisdictions across the US. You will work with the Bloom Housing team and our clients to identify needs, define and prioritize areas of focus, execute roadmaps with different clients, or manage different digital solutions. You’ll facilitate and manage a cross-functional team - consisting of Exygy team members (other Product Managers, designers, researchers, housing experts, and engineers), client team members, and contracted partners - to deliver different solutions for our housing-related portfolio of products.

The Product Manager role at Exygy is a dual role: 70% product management and 30% project management. You may manage digital solutions (features or new product areas) for different jurisdictions at any given time, depending on the scope and scale of our different engagements. For example, Exygy is expanding its Bloom work across California and into other regions in America. We expect the person in this role to play a critical part in addressing various product challenges and opportunities in implementing and scaling our housing product across multiple counties/cities.

You enjoy complex environments with changing requirements; re-scoping and re-prioritizing don’t scare you. You thrive on extracting key motivations and requirements from team members and stakeholders to create and prioritize solutions that solve user problems. Your focus on high standards will help you execute Agile processes to support delivery from kickoff through launch and into product growth. Your communication and creative problem-solving will help anticipate blockers and navigate the day-to-day, while your understanding of digital products will help you advocate for high-quality strategy, design, and engineering work. Your ability to balance multiple, dynamic projects of varying sizes will help our team maximize capacity. Finally, your stakeholder management skills and ability to influence internal and external teams, coupled with your attention to detail, will help guide projects to success.
