Colin is passionate about the ways that technology can empower social causes and uplift folks with marginalized identities. In his past four years at the University of Virginia, he has learned and imagined technology through this framework.

This focus is exemplified in his development of websites that expedite criminal record expungement, web apps that help scale the reach of a major food bank's delivery services, and a mobile app that worked to prevent overcrowding during the current pandemic. Furthermore, his experience working with Code for Charlottesville on an affordable housing system leaves him uniquely positioned to contribute to the Bloom Housing team.

Outside of development, Colin enjoys spending time hiking with his friends, swimming in the ocean, and watching low-grade YouTube videos.
