Emily has a multidisciplinary background in computer science and international studies. After graduating from the University of Michigan, she worked as a software engineer for three years with Workday before starting with Exygy. Civic tech has always been front and center for her, having studied how data science intersects with international development and volunteered with tech for good organizations like Code for America and Develop for Good. Her passion lies in building sustainable solutions to big problems, and focusing on how to help everyday people in meaningful ways.

When she's not developing, you can find Emily playing with her dog Bandit, snowboarding poorly, or hiking in the mountains.
