Lisa Warner
Lisa brings her mindful approach to human resources management to help create better workplaces. She enjoys bringing her business acumen, analytical aptitude, knowledge of people operations and emotional intelligence to the table to help solve organizational challenges. Lisa has a long career of meandering and learning. Her formal education is in theatre, and public speaking is still a passion of hers. Most of her professional experience is with small creative organizations where she has worn operational hats — everything from accounting to human resource manager. Lisa is a certified mindfulness meditation coach and loves sharing the wisdom of mindfulness within organizations. Lisa likes to connect the dots between contemplative studies and practical living!
In her free time, Lisa gardens, beekeeps, sings, crafts, solve puzzles, and spends time with her family and friends. Meditation is like eating and sleeping — she does this every day!
Career highlights include being a featured speaker at SXSW in 2022 where she presented “Mindfulness and the Human Firewall.” Lisa also spoke on the role of emotional intelligence and the workplace on the “Blue Collar Nation” podcast in 2021 and was honored to speak at several HR events about mindfulness and the role of emotional intelligence.
